Goose barnacle 'eyelashes'

Looking for all the world like an eye, surrounding by sweeping eyelashes, a goose barnacle clusters on its stalk, filter-feeding limbs extended into the current — an odd, ancient-looking creature, and a true crustacean despite its shell-like appearance.
